It is a ubiquitous and inexpensive natural gas that is not dangerous for food products, does not require recycling, is not flammable or explosive.
The EU F-Gas Regulation is an important priority for European countries. It complies with the Kigali Amendment, which supports international climate commitments on greenhouse gases and leads the global transition to climate-friendly, HFC-free technologies.
Carbon dioxide (R744) is on its way to regaining its place in the refrigeration world. Acting on environmental concerns, Regulation now requires greater adoption of "alternative" refrigerants such as CO2.
CO2 is an environmentally friendly solution with zero ODP and “GWP” (Global Warming Potential)=1 which means natural substance in the atmosphere.
In Europe, HFC reduction has been implemented step by step since the F-Gas Regulation came into force in 2015.
Countries around the world are actively preparing to enact the necessary local regulation to implement the regulation to reduce the use of HFCs.
